Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to feel prepared.

Artist levels, appointment preparation, trials, timing, and booking details.

What is the difference between each artist level?

All Art Creation In CA artists are experienced beauty professionals committed to providing attentive service and polished results. Artist levels reflect differences in technical ability, creative interpretation, versatility, and experience with highly customized or complex requests.

Lead Artist

Rose

Rose is the founder and Lead Artist of Art Creation In CA. This level is recommended for clients seeking our highest level of artistry, detailed customization, intricate hairstyles, or major transformations. Rose can create a wide range of bridal hairstyles and adapt inspiration photos to complement each client’s hair, features, dress, and wedding style.

Master Artist

Advanced versatility

Our Master Artists offer advanced technical ability and versatility across a wide range of hairstyles, makeup styles, skin tones, and facial features. This level is ideal for clients with specific preferences who want a detailed and personalized interpretation of their inspiration.

Senior Artist

Polished essentials

Our Senior Artists are experienced professionals who create polished bridal hair and makeup looks using the styles and techniques they specialize in. This level offers a more standardized approach rather than a fully customized interpretation, while still making every effort to work toward the look you prefer. This level offers excellent value for clients with flexible preferences and less complex requests.

Note: The three artist levels listed above are intended as a general guide. The final recommendation may vary depending on your desired look, hair and makeup needs, level of customization, and budget.

Tip: If you are unsure which level to select, please send us your inspiration photos and requested services. Our team will be happy to recommend the artist level that best suits your needs.

Are false eyelashes and hair extensions included in the service?

False eyelashes and professional application are complimentary with our makeup services.

Hair-extension application is also complimentary with our hairstyling services; however, clients must purchase and bring their own hair extensions.

What brand of hair extensions do you recommend?

We do not require a specific brand. Please choose high-quality, 100% human hair extensions that can be safely styled with hot tools, including curling irons.

The color should closely match your natural hair. If you are unsure about the color, length, or amount to purchase, please send us the product link or photos before ordering, and our team will be happy to advise you.

How should I prepare before my appointment?

Before your artist arrives, please have a clean, makeup-free, and moisturized face.

Your hair should be clean and completely dry. If your hair is naturally curly and you would like a smooth or structured hairstyle, we recommend completing a blowout beforehand.

Please also have your inspiration photos, hair accessories, veil, and hair extensions ready, if applicable.

What should I do when I sit in the artist’s chair?

Please begin by showing your artist your inspiration photos and briefly explaining your preferences.

Let the artist know which details are most important to you, as well as anything you would prefer to avoid. Clear and simple communication at the beginning helps the artist understand your vision and begin the service efficiently.

How can we stay on schedule?

Please complete any errands, meals, phone calls, or other preparations before your assigned time slot.

Each person receiving services should be in the styling area and fully ready at least 10 minutes before their scheduled start time. Please prepare all planned accessories in advance, including jewelry, hairpieces, veils, and hair extensions.

Being prepared and available on time helps our artists follow the schedule and ensures that everyone is finished as planned.

Where does the trial session take place?

Trial sessions are available at our Chino Hills location or at the client’s preferred location.

There is no travel fee when the client comes to our Chino Hills location.

If you would like the artist to travel to your location, a travel fee of $1 per mile applies. The fee is calculated based on the total round-trip mileage between Chino Hills and your location.

Do I need to sign a contract?

A signed contract is required for group bookings.

For smaller bookings, we will send a detailed booking invitation to your email. The email will include the confirmed services, date, time, location, artist information, pricing, and other important booking details. This email serves as your written booking confirmation.
